Dubious honour for SW18

The Daily Mail reports on figures released by the British Bankers' Association and the Council of Mortgage Lenders showing levels of household debt for different postcodes. Bad news for those hoping to buy in our neighbourhood -

"The CML figures show that the postcode area of SW18 3 in South West London, which covers areas such as Wandsworth and Earlsfield, has the highest level of outstanding mortgage debt in Britain, at £667 million."
Whatever way you look at it, that's an awful lot of money tied up in our streets.
